Wait, y’all had gaming skills to begin with?
I can barely play online games against anyone without getting wiped in 0.0001 nanoseconds if it’s a PVP game. Never had skills, so I’ll never be in denial about losing what I never had.

Although I definitely agree that the vast majority of parents definitely shouldn’t homeschool, I know of a single case where it went alright. Though they’re definitely outliers in the equation.
Just based on the article headline alone, if it’s anywhere near as bad as the headline, you know those kids are gonna get into the real world and already be leagues behind everyone else. They’re gonna eventually “write” a letter to their dad about how much they hate him for what he did, but the dad isn’t gonna know whether it’s AI generated or written by their own kid. The kids are gonna be so incapable of doing everything themselves and so reliant on AI that they can’t even think for themselves and use an AI whenever a simple question comes up. Even just basic “what’s your name?” type stuff.
I hope I’m wrong and the parent is actually gonna intervene and help the kids learn that AI is a hallucinatory nightmare that is more wrong than right in many real world scenarios and applications. I hope the parent isn’t just letting them learn literally everything from the AI and enforcing the belief that the AI is more competent and knowledgeable than a professional in a specific field of study.
Pretty sure in just about any developed country BetterHelp is breaking the law by selling at least some of that data. How they haven’t been shut down is a testament to man’s unending greed.
My condolences.
Didn’t know those existed, but not surprised. Definitely gonna have to check them out when I have the time.
As much as I would love that, I think the original games being remastered to remove any bugs or maybe just having balance/difficulty changes/updates would be enough for me.
On a personal level, I would absolutely not buy a Fallout 1/2 remaster that changes how the NPC faces move when in the dialogue box thing with them. That almost uncanny valley like facial movement is something I absolutely love in older games.
Most normal people, at least from my understanding, don’t use em dashes in text messages, let alone even use punctuation half the time. So if I see em dashes, yeah, my first thought is going straight to AI.
Whenever a large games company talks about “developer choice” you know they’re referring to one of a few things:
I will honestly not be surprised if in a few years we have young to middle aged people who have become so dependent on “AI” that they’ll be forced into assisted living homes because they are unable to function without it.
To put the post title in a way AI user can understand ( maybe ):

Hell, we’re gonna be lucky if in a few years AI reliant people are able to even read emojis. They’ll be so braindead that you ask them any question and they won’t understand a word you say. I’d be surprised if these people will even be able to survive on their own. Wouldn’t be surprised if we needed assisted living homes for chronic AI users, too.
On a personal level, I don’t like the see through towers or really basically any RGB. I have a keyboard that has RGB and if I could turn it off while also being able to see the keys properly, I would turn it off. It’s currently at the lowest setting I can do it and still see the keys.
Also not a fan of the super fancy schmancy gaming mice because I’m a firm believer trackball mice are superior.
No opinion on gaming headsets other than the ones with the attached mic are stupid looking. Design of headphones and such are slightly less important to me than the sound quality, so I can let some dumb designs slide if the quality is fantastic.
When cooked well enough, I’d say 1 2 4 5 8 3 6 7.
Ain’t no way I’d ever put wedges higher or shoelace lower. Those are always gonna be constant.
I may not like the .ml political stance, but there are definitely people on there that may have non-political things worth listening to, which is why I haven’t bothered blocking them. They may have some good opinions on open source software and such. I just avoid their news community because I know I will disagree with them and their stance.
I haven’t been necessarily patriotic for a long time because why pledge allegiance to a single nation? The only reason I really care about July 4 is the fireworks. It’s more tradition than anything that I see them.
Anyways, both of his terms make me feel vindicated in not being patriotic in a country.
This is the type of ad I absolutely don’t mind because they aren’t for absolutely soulless companies that will fuck your grandma and then sue you for emotional damages afterwards.
Regardless of whether you’re in a part of the country where the effects of you speaking up won’t have as much consequence, I don’t think it’s morally wrong to try and keep yourself, friends, family, and loved ones safe by not speaking out.
This is definitely a time I will 100% gladly gatekeep anime. If gen “AI” is used I will 100% say anyone “working” on it isn’t part of that industry and is nothing but a pathetic loser not worthy of a job in any real anime company.
Similar sentiments to short form anime. Also towards people who watch either.
I’ll stick with what I’ll be calling real anime if that future becomes the new normal.
