I’ve been there too. It’s such a waste of time, and then everyone’s pressured to work extra hours to make up for it.

Netflix had some good years, then it seemed like they were starting to get pretty inconsistent, and now it seems like they’re entering their straight-up slop era.

I don’t think it’s making fun of anything in particular. This guy’s whole deal is coming up with fake features for apps that would be incredibly annoying.

I procrastinated doing this for years, then finally set up a NAS a few months ago and backed everything up so that I could make the switch. It was worth it.
