That part is fair criticism, I just don’t think it makes a lot of sense for you to criticize them about the amount of content they post.

They post more on Lemmy than you do

linuxmemes@lemmy.world•It's all about those little file mode bits
13·25 days agoI mean, having config files in there makes a lot of sense. It allows you to move your home to some other machine/install and immediately feel at home, because everything is configured to your liking.
Now, the fact that many apps create their own directory instead of putting their stuff in ~/.config is pretty annoying.
And that is why oil and coal companies bought politicians

1·1 month agoI also noticed in american media that people only open the zipper to take a piss, but not the button - maybe that’s the difference?
Too much money in oil and coal etc.
There’s the dirty part, and the neat part
I mean it depends on what kinda test it was. This $30 was probably just some app, judging by the transaction description. A test by a professional is still like 500€+ here in Germany (at least the few I found when looking for a diagnosis), since it’s usually not covered by insurance
That is what happens after the puncture, though. Doesn’t really change anything about what I said. But if that works for you, that’s good.
Meaning more surface area to hit something sharp. Yeah the larger area means lower pressure on the contact surface but I don’t think that’s the deciding factor in whether something punctures your tire. Best way to prevent punctures is tougher tires rather than larger ones. The lower pressure just helps with stuff like loose gravel or sand.
why would they be easier to maintain?
Sorry, no idea how to fix that, short of spending money. But if you ever end up considering doing that, I’d like to suggest buying music rather than paying for a subscription like YouTube premium or Spotify etc.

2·2 months agoLooks like infosec.pub is also hosting the default lemmy frontend. I’m asking because there are alternative lemmy frontends, like Alexandrite.
But yeah it seems infosec.pub also uses some kind of image proxy. When I call the URL you commented, it gives me an error about validation, so maybe that is broken somehow

1·2 months agoThat’s weird. What kind of frontend are you using?

7·2 months agoLemmy comments support markdown, so if you paste the link inside brackets like this:
It shows up as the actual GIF, like this:

1·2 months agolucky you, the bus probably runs on diesel
it is greatly reduced, though.
I don’t see how regex has anything to do with this, lemmy uses markdown for comment formatting

They do contribute, though.
