    Vargas’ Brazil was the most prominent fascist nation outside Europe.

    Was it really though? Seems like a bit of a stretch… But ok.

    Maybe the japanese empire (before ww2), or the south african apartheid regime, but vargas?

    Brazil did have the integralist party which was the largest fascist-like movement outside europe, but vargas didnt really go along with them.

      I’m gonna be honest, I’m not a huge Brazil expert. I had thought Vargas was close allies with the integralist party and even sort of it’s figure head through much of the rise of fascism.
