Last week, 11 Starbucks workers and supporters were arrested by Chicago police during a sit-in at one of the city’s earliest unionized Starbucks locations. The protest took place during Starbucks’ annual shareholder meeting.

When the oligarchs can use public taxpayer funds to remove legally abiding citizens from protesting, there’s a problem.

The problem is the orange Russian cunt muppet currently destroying America.

Police are the remnants of private slave catching and manhunting services. Post civil war the government started employing them to control these aimless groups of mercenaries instead of forcing them to be dissolved. Since then they have been used as tools of property owners to protect their property at the expense of society. This is why cops in the US are worse than almost anywhere else.

Fuck cops and fuck oligarchs, but you need to understand they deliberately sat inside a privately owned building to get charged with trespassing and get arrested so you could post about it on social media here.

Technically they weren’t protesting in a legally allowed way (and this is good) and so you saying they were legally abiding citizens is factually incorrect. You have been successfully manipulated (but this is good because it’s a good cause).

If they simply protested outside no one would give a shit, not the cops, not the Starbucks CEOs; no one would give a shit including you.

    Isn’t . . . I mean civil disobedience usually includes arrest right?

Yes, ACAB, but - I mean isn’t that the point sometimes?
