If she gets it, she looks tough on crime and that looks good. If she doesn’t, she can say “Forget all that, people can change! Why do you never want people to change? Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good!”

She’ll advocate for them to be crushed by police.
If she gets it, she looks tough on crime and that looks good.
