Nah those people were dumb obviously but they still had the wherewithal to put the smartest man alive in charge of fixing everything.

I hate that movie and get upset whenever people act like our current foolishness is the same as the movie’s stupidity. It’s a motivated ideological rejection of reason, not a lack of ability.
