I guess we’re past the era when apple was known for at least having good design
The Liquid Ass guy didn’t have any previous experience in UI design, he came straight from advertising. Guess that’s what happens when you put an advertising dude in charge of redesigning your entire software line-up’s UI/UX.

I can’t help but feel UI design peaked in the mid 90’s, but that may just be mid-life man yelling at clouds.
I’d put it around 2012 myself.
