Yes, you’re right, it is just that trump is moving so quick this time that feels like it isn’t enough. But I’m so glad there is strong resistance. I wish though that all Democrats and Republicans (if there are still any real ones, looks like not at least in Congress) would join people.

“that feels like it isn’t enough”

this is what the extremists are banking on, that trump can scribble enough bogus executive orders that people will get tired and stop paying attention to what they’re actually doing.

That’s why the organized protests and the judges and the lawyers and the civil unions and the labor unions are so important and deserve so much support.

there are Republicans decrying Trump, but most Americans are barely hanging on to their job and rent, so the politically active are going to be a laudable minority for the foreseeable future.

Can we all just agree to make the next four years all protests and worker strikes? You know, like how we had quarantine for COVID, universal protests for FASCISM.

I think as many as are able should join the ongoing protests, but fortunately what you are hoping for is already happening, and every person that supports 50501 or BLM or lgbtq or any protests in their area is helping.

The protests are being covered and the more people that protest, the more coverage those protests will get.

I know, just more universal protests. Ironically I’m better off not skipping my job to protest, given I teach undergraduates… ya know, “indoctrinating” the future with nonsense like critical thinking. I do grant full excused absences to anyone protesting, though.

Full excused absences for protesters is a very powerful action in itself.

Keep it up with that “nonsense”, haha.
