Day 3 began to see vast improvements in both scenery and trail conditions leaving the ‘Minong Ridge’ section, as well as being far more active with both people and wildlife. Although I missed it, a moose walked right by E Chickenbone CG. The much easier schedule for the day was also appreciated.

Another of the many small ponds you’ll pass by, luckily by this point on the trip you’ll be walking around and not through them.

A couple of swans, one tipped over to pick grass from the pond bottom while the other chews a mouthful.
