Alexstarfire@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•Trakt to increase prices to $60 for all users, including those on legacy, promotional, and grandfathered pricingEnglish9·3 days agoI used it for a while but I don’t think I ever knew it could do those things. I just used it to manually keep track of what I watched. Was more useful in keeping track of movies but I liked TrackSeries.tv better for keeping track of my shows.
Course, I don’t think it can do any of the things you mention either so it’s certainly not a replacement. It is free though. And I’m not aware of any limits on it.
EDIT: I take that back. If you follow a series it will show you when there are new episodes. I do make use of that feature. That’s really been my biggest problem. Knowing when a new season of something comes out.
If I wasn’t so familiar with manga and anime this would sound disturbing. But this barely tickles the feeling.

Funnily enough, I got mad at CVS being far too persistent on my meds when I kept texting no I don’t need a refill that I finally said “fuck off” and then it finally stopped pestering me. I didn’t expect it to do anything. I was just mad.
Alexstarfire@lemmy.worldto Television@lemm.ee•‘Suits LA’ Canceled By NBC After One SeasonEnglish5·7 days agoFiguring out what makes a show work is half the battle in making a spin-off. And for this one, a lot of it was the characters. But they took the crappy parts of the show, namely the company drama after the Mike drama wrapped up, and thought they could make it work in a new location.
I mean, they don’t even have a Mike character, with or without the law degree drama. That was the whole gimmick of the original. Remove him and you’ve just got some generic lawyer drama show.

Most vehicles don’t have flashing lights either.
