Background from last week
It’s pretty grim
‘We thought we’d got the numbers wrong’: how a pristine lake came to have the highest levels of ‘forever chemicals’ on record
I’m never gonna defend the Catholics in any way.
The pope has vast influence, that’s what this is about.
This of course does not apply in the u.s. where they’re on the verge of Great Schism 2: Electric Boogaloo
It’s 25 kms away
Street complete is great for learning a new area, and there are always things to update. A business changed or whatever
And use for tortillas and savory pie crust.
When my grandma had “too much” of it she would mix it with seeds and put it out for the woodpeckers in winter
For crispness you want very underripe green, they aren’t sweet though. These are great with a dusting of salt, dried chili, and a squeeze of lime.
As you have noticed they tend to ripen unevenly. If I want them sweet I still get green, for the crispy goodness, then toss them while still hot with a little powdered sugar or honey, and a pinch of salt.
I love some ripe plantain, but it doesn’t make good chips because the sugar content is to high. They just scorch.
She initially lied about the source of the mushrooms too. “From an Asian market”. And denied foraging.
Later it was “an Asian market and the supermarket”. Then some may have been foraged.
Her story to police changed many times
Oh, and she reset her phone a few times (including when it was in police custody)
Did you download this, or was it an automatic update?
Some people have said it was an automatic update, and it then changed their settings
I posted this in Longreads and found out about it from the linked Guardian article. I had never heard of it previously
Username checks out…
Reddit tropes aside, I did look briefly to see if I could add it and couldn’t find anything. I quite like it and read it fluently.
What am I missing? Why would it mar the outside?
These are usually quite soft metal, and generally used in particleboard. Itself quite soft. I have had the inserts spin and strip out holes many times, I’ve also stripped the internal threading many times.
Chylamydia is in their dictionary, Clematis is not. Autocarrot
Almost certainly the wrong thread pitch too, so it will lock into the insert and be stronger than the cheap particleboard and destroy the hole.
Wasps are super important, besides the direct pollinators there are those that parasitize various caterpillars, including invasive ones. I do as much as possible to make wasps at home in my area.
There back
20$ dollar
Jesus wept
They were expensive when new.
I got to hold and use one once, friend of a friend had it. It felt so satisfying in my hands.
Have you taken it apart yet to see how it works…
