Back after 9/11/2001 the GOP pushed two ideas at once. First, that Bill Clinton had missed numerous opportunities to go after bin-Ladn, and that Bush Jr. had only been in office for nine months and couldn’t have know what a threat bin-Ladn was.
I like how he calls out the people who will do nothing because ‘cops and Nazis are the same thing.’
How many of these idiots have child support warrants out on them? Any hostile interaction between cops and Nazis is a win.
Check with the local parks department. There are nature hikes that teach people about the local biology.

There’s a story that says that a Northern quartermaster didn’t want repeating rifles because he didn’t want his troops wasting bullets.
More likely the repeating rifles were more expensive and heavier.

I’ve seen this idea from several sources. The British figured that American ‘Manifest Destiny’ would mean annexing Canada eventually. It didn’t cost the Brits a lot to stir up Southern resentments against the North. So they South got played.

Many people believe that the British government actively pushed the south to secede in order to weaken the US.
