Thanks for the constructive comment. I am suspicious that it’s only a temporary stopgap and the feature will keep being pushed on users with increasing difficulty of opting out. For me, this is the time to move on from Chrome like it was time to move on from Windows 11 about a year ago. I am only using it out of some friction of setting up addons on a different browser, but at some point cutting the heads of the AI bloat hydra becomes the bigger hassle.

I settled on sublime. It is not exactly the same as np++, but works great on both Mac and Linux, so at least I don’t need to get used to a separate editor for those two environments.

I think what OP is referring to is that many supporters of “gun rights” like to use the argument that the second amendment is key to the freedom of America because an armed populace cannot be controlled by an authoritarian government. I don’t particularly care for that argument, but if you run with it, it would make sense that the right of the populace to organize armed rebellion is just as important as their right to own and carry weapons.

If you get all the achievements for completing the game, what are achievements actually for? They are there to create fun or not so fun challenges above just completing the game. It’s not like someone will punish you if you leave some achievements incomplete. On the other hand, completing a tough one can feel like - an achievement!

I use self hosted baserow free tier at work and no issues in 3 years. Why does it not work for you? My only complaint is the API can’t use the views that exist on the web interface.

It’s not like a user asked vanilla ChatGPT random questions and took the responses for medical advice. This is a service openAI marketed specifically for medical use. If we want to keep up the pretense that consumer protection laws and regulations exist and matter, this is a big deal, and the blame is on the vendor, not on the user.

Is there a self hosted or free tier? I’m tired of trying new project management tools that all do the same and have a per seat subscription. It must be crazy cheap to run the backend so I don’t understand why are these tools expensive.
