I would imagine it’s when there’s a conversation happening that’s relevant to the question. In this case, the conversation is explicitly about what causes rape, so the question seems out of place and not in good faith.

Easier to document the nexus, for sure
You laugh, but they absolutely could mandate viewing by members of the military. Even those who are on leave or have a valid excuse could be made to watch the recording later. I’ve seen dumber (maybe?) orders come down.

4·8 days agoAgreed. Knowing for sure that they carried out the physical act should be the bare minimum to even consider the death penalty (assuming we can’t just get rid of it).
Highly dependent on the people involved. My oldest friend I’ve known since high school. We’ll occasionally send a meme back and forth but he’d never even met my kids until they were in their teens. We live far apart. But when my dad passed and I needed his help with something, he dropped everything and drove 6 hours round trip to be there. I probably see him or have a substantive conversation with him once or twice a year.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•On 9/11 what was the internet like after it happened? Did people quit being dicks or trolls and showed some decency? Or was it like we have today and nothing changed?
1·1 month agoAside from the outcome, it’s crazy that in 2001 there were still enough “Internet non-users” to make gathering data on them statistically significant

Correct.
Locations are not causal. There is no causal link between rape and location.
