I’ve mentioned this before, but I was working for Franklin County when Covid first happened and we went into lockdown. I processed a complaint filed by a group of restaurants downtown against DeWine personally for “impacting their business”. I had a hunch, then, that he wasn’t going to be on the right side of this ever again. I hate that I was right, but I’m not surprised.
I might, if that’s what I felt like doing that day. The first thing I’d do would be to sleep for a year.
Or, you know, don’t do that. Find those children in their starting zones and give them in game currency and equipment. Help them get stronger. Stand under them and prop them up. Teach them how to play and defend them from the teabaggers of the world. Show them a better way.
Build a legacy instead of a throne.


To be fair, it wasn’t until much later that I learned that the “buried alive” was metaphorical. See: debt, stress, etc.
