No one is gonna do shit. You could starve half of America and we all will still go to work and the people starving either just die or would still support Trump and die. This is not a country of civil disobedience, we just mostly all don’t want to be inconvenienced in any way. There’s also zero organizing, zero workers rights and zero collaboration amongst the left to do anything. I fully expect things to keep getting worse and most of us honestly just don’t give a shit. America is also huge and you’re not gonna get people in Hawaii to just come to DC.
The “1789 France” memes are all bullshit. The US also has the most advanced military to keep all the peasants in line and you bet your ass they won’t join the peasants.
A little more than five years ago remember people were throwing public fits over putting a piece of cloth on their face, they ain’t gonna rise up.
Even with funded education, the average person has no interest in educating themselves. Most humans are just morons who are easily manipulated.
I fully expect nothing to happen as usual, we just always take the abuse in America.
Everyone wants UBI but no one explains how that shit would work. And you can bet that you would only get enough to barely subsist in such a system as you are just being paid fake money to exist. That’s no world for humans to thrive in.

I’ll get right on that whole convincing 100 million Americans what to do and vote in a gerrymandered and electoral college rigged system. While working ten hour days, fighting my employer for basic rights and trying to have a life outside politics. Also having zero resources compared to any corporate influence in Washington.
Sorry I don’t live in some idealistic European utopia.

Tough talk for someone not living here. Everybody wanna fight fascism until it’s your ass on the line. You have no idea what it’s like in the US. It’s not like most votes matter or there is any real organization on the left. We also have jobs, health insurance, families and other responsibilities than whatever bullshit goes on in Washington.
Pretty much how I feel about it too , we have so much larger fish to fry than this dumb vanity project
