So I was on a jury. The officer involved testified on some things that made it sound very bad for the defendant.
Then we saw the body cam of part the interaction. Technically what he said was true but extremely exaggerated. Made us discount everything he said that wasn’t on video.
We ended thinking the defendant was probably guilty but they didn’t prove it so we decided not guilty.

Because his original motivation was to impress a girl he liked. Death is a hot chick that he was in to but she wasn’t interested in him. So he figured killing half of all life would impress her.
They decided to make his motivation more sympathetic for the movie. They didn’t think through how his new goal could be better served with the godlike powers he gets.

They have access to a bunch of digital content. However it can be hard to find what you are looking for or even know what databases and other services are available.
Discovery services try to make that more available to end users. Kind of like a index of all the digital content the library has available.

Titanium Noir. Scifi noir detective story. There is a drug that reverts your age back to about 20 and heals most health conditions.
It causes you to speed run puberty so each time you take it you get bigger. Only the ultra rich can afford it.
It’s pretty good so far and an easy read.

Librarian. They love their time on the reference desk. Their main work is in discovery services.

Put 11.6 KW of solar on the roof. I’ll hit break even next year. Should have 15-20 years left of use.

They both still loop in the story. Before killing the big bad they fight to the death because the loop will keep repeating unless there is only one mimic (the reset aliens and both of them) at the end of the day.
He kills her and the other mimics then the big boss. Ending the loop at the cost of her life.
Maybe they will finally stop with the cranberry sauce recipe.

It’s terrible, wrong, and out of context. Einstein was talking about quantum mechanics not mental health. He really didn’t like that at the quantum level results are random but follow a very spefic probability curve.
He thought quantum mechanics would be able to achive classical physics like results. Where the only uncertainty was because of measurement error.
quantum uncertainty is the most experimentaly proven theory in physics. So even in the context Einstein made the statement he was wrong.

No. This is something else. If it was an invasion plan there would be the usual high level meetings at the Pentagon and Whitehouse. Then orders would be issued via the usual secured communication.
The only reason to bring all of them in is a for a political purity test and or mass firing.

They cause a nuclear explosion even though the power plant should only be able to go into meltdown.

Oh yeah I remember that old horror movie about the killer bees. The Swarm. Scared the crap out of me as a kid.

Even if you didn’t work on the winning protein you helped.
Just like a rescue search party you looking in one place let someone else look in another. The person who finds the missing person is random. However if they were working alone they wouldn’t have found anything.
She thought the lathe of heaven was a great adaption. She said the Earthsea completely missed the point and was trash.

My god! It works.

Remember when Obama tried to exclude Fox from the press core and all the others in the press core said if you do we are out. We could use some of that principled reporter solidarity now.

Not a justification but an explanation.

Product placement are the commercials in movies.
