Ludrol@szmer.infoto Out of the loop@lemmy.world•[ANSWERED] What's going on with some person seemingly called "PirateSoftware" and the stop killing games campaign?10·3 days agoFrom an interview on HealthyGamerGG with Thor. I think he actually has inability to admit to any wrongdoing. He always needs to be right and will double down. He displays very narcissistic behaviour that keeps fueling the fire of hate.
Ludrol@szmer.infoto Open Source@lemmy.ml•Did PewDiePie Just Crack the Code for How to Present Libre Software?15·4 days agoGreat blog post! The mastodon outrage was a highlight as I see it again and again. Dunking on bridgy-fed, opt-out telemetry and donation pop-ups.
As I have tried to put myself in the shoes of a typical person I can see how they can view FOSS as crazy people in tinfoil hats creating templeOS.
The more I look at it the worse it gets. Her face expression, yellow drip over the cardboard, 尿かけ氷は on the whiteboard. Disgusting.
I would go for even longer one.
As I understand (I could be wrong) bridgy is not useful as it could be as it got bullied into being opt-in instead of opt-out.

Ludrol@szmer.infoto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•What's the e-reader you would buy if you were in the market?1·13 days agoKobo, Pocketbook or used Kindle as there is working jailbreak.
Nope.
- Install windows on clean disk
- Install Linux with custom partitions
Add 3 new partitions (/boot, /, swap) - Enable os-prober for grub
- Set grub as boot in BIOS
Never had problem with windows nuking the bootloader. It never knows it exists.
Somehow I learned how to install my systems without windows doing that.
Update and Shutdown -> go and make tea -> Linux lock screen -> 😐
Windows really dosn’t want to be on my system.
Ok, but there is something here. in 99% percent everything works fine but when @[email protected] and I go to https://survev.io/ the performance is awful. Tested both on X11 and Wayland.
https://feddit.nl/post/34127250 just found your post and strangely enough https://survev.io/ IS unplayable.
I now run bazzite but arch and ubuntu worked good enough for me, definitely no 5fps choppines in the UI.
I run the same laptop with the same card, doing heavy work in blender and 3d games on Linux. What are you talking about?
