Some Lemmy communities would die than realize the environmental harm Europe is doing to itself to make enemies with Russia

Humans love to live in places that aren’t suitable for their life.

People in some parts of Europe, Russia, North America live in places where without heating, they would simply cease to exist. Same for places in the middle east, people in Qatar and UAE live in places where without AC, they would cease to exist.

Both ways of living is harmful for environment. Maybe we should reevaluate where we live.

Lemmy wants me to believe that AI is the danger for climate change. This is like drinking through paper straw while the pollution comes from mega-factories who dump their waste in the river.

So AI is the problem… huh… and not the thousands of missiles dropped in Ukraine, Gaza, Iran and the Occupied Terrorist Zionazi Land.

According to western media like Instagram, Facebook, X. I should go outside of my house when Israelis come into my doorsteps and take my house. I should also use my hard earned tax money to supply them with more weapons so they can steal more of our houses.

I’m so tired if europeans and people of european descent pretending like they have moral high ground over China. I’m done with the double standards. I’m tired of how colonized their brains are.

Both China and USA (and Europe) are in the wrong with everything.

It’s funny how everyone is against using AI for students to get summaries of texts, pdfs etc which I totally get.

But during my time through medschool, I never got my exam paper back (ever!) so the exam was a test where I needed to prove that I have enough knowledge but the exam is also allowed to show me my weaknesses are so I would work on them but no, we never get out papers back. And this extends beyond medschool, exams like the USMLE are long and tiring at the end of the day we just want a pass, another hurdle to jump on.

We criticize students a lot (righfully so) but we don’t criticize the system where students only study becase there is an exam, not because they are particularly interested in the topic at given hand.

A lot of topics that I found interesting in medicine were dropped off because I had to sit for other examinations.

Free speech was always a lie I guess

A lot of people on Lemmy are just… old.

This thread made me realize this.

If this bill passes and any of you criticizes China/Russia for banning Facebook/Instagram/Twitter etc… under the name of “lack of freedom of speech”. I will be laughing. A lot.

A lot of people started their businesses on Tiktok. The Tiktok algorithm is actually way better than that of Instagram to reach your target niche. A lot content creators and marketing exes do realize this.

I don’t understand the mentality of users, of course of obviously older generation here, that realize Tiktok did in fact change a lot of people’s lives. It’s not just an app for dancing.
