Guessing it helped that it’s not a Switch 2 exclusive.
Eskating cyclist, gamer and enjoyer of anime. Probably an artist. Also I code sometimes, pretty much just to mod titanfall 2 tho.
Introverted, yet I enjoy discussion to a fault.

Except that “fake” voting patterns become impossible to spot.
The way they are now, you can look at how an account votes, when it was created, as well as their posts and comments, to determine whether an account is a legitimate user.
Creating fake accounts that look like legit users is a lot of work. Creating just one, then setting a number a really high, is much, much easier.

Where does cringe go?

Then they shouldn’t call it that.
The word has a definition, and quack science explanation that defines the “field”.
“Chiropractors” who provide proper care aren’t exactly being honest, either. They don’t call themselves that because it’s simpler. They do it because it’s illegal for them to claim to be medical professionals.

That sound exactly the same, actually.
How are they regulated? Because if they aren’t, then you don’t really know what you’re getting.
“Good” chiropractors will stick to the same treatments that actual medical professionals would prescribe, and hence produce results at times. But that doesn’t change the fact that it’s not a protected term that brings with it some kind of license or education.
As such, no-one who takes doing things right seriously goes by it. To people who science, the term sits right next to homeopathy, and will never be associated with serious medical care.

On android, the setting is in Settings>Security>More Security
Yes
The fact that it can only be attempted three times, after which a much longer PUK code you from your service provider must be used to restore funtionality to the SIM. It also has limited attempts, after which the SIM is locked forever.
Not sure how that works cryptographically, or how robust a physical SIM is against tampering.

I’ve always used a PIN.
I did not know eSIM is stored outside the normal data partition and survuves factory resets. That doesn’t feel right.
Edit: huh, my eSIM had a default pin set which I had to provide to set one.
The setting is in Security, not SIM card info.

Sure it will. In many ways it already has.
It’s slow going, but you can absolutely take control. Not everyone can afford it right now, but the sweet thing is… Once you do, it pays for itself.
Because getting rid of a layer of exploitation makes things cheaper and more efficient. Corruption can’t compete except through fragile control mechanisms which ARE cracking.

I don’t know about you, but at least in my circle, being “sick and tired of this shit” is becoming extremely normal.
People hate Windows. They hate how apps become more complicated, not simpler. They hate how everything is becoming a subscription. They hate how keeping their files safe is a giant clusterfuck of managing half a dozen cloud services constantly sucking up every file from every one of their devices. They hate how TVs aren’t just fucking TVs anymore. They hate how their toaster, oven, dishwasher, and coffee maker needs wifi. They hate how all their favorite things are fragmeneted across a dozen streaming services again. They hate how work involves figuring out a dozen chat apps plus email, a dozen file processing programs, and how all their names and icons keep changing and their prices keep increasing. They hate how remembering up to a hundred account password is an absolutely catastrophy. They hate how their purchases don’t last. They hate how “no” doesn’t exist anymore in marketing…
I could go on.
Speak to literally anyone, and they’ve DEFINITELY picked up on at least some part of this, and it has them absolutely livid about how unfair it is.

Why would you mirror, when you could federate?

undue burden on small developers
Uuh, more often than not, the small devs already make their games indefinitely playable and preservable, just out of a love for the medium.
No actual artist wants their work to have an expiry date.
Legal enforcement is only needed for the passionless big publishers that shutter games just to funnel players into purchasing their latest releases.
It’s mentioned in the parliament presentation. Only a small minority of game publishers engage in this BS, but it’s ALL the big ones, meaning the problem is experienced by the vast majority of consumers.

There’s a difference between using AI to apply fixes for problems, and using AI to find problems that you didn’t know about.
Mythos does the latter, not the former.
2014
You mean 2004, right?
Right?

In the rest of his talk, titled “What Makes an Indie Game Successful?,” Yoshida walked through twelve standout indie games that resonated with him and the reasons why. They included:
One of them is Marvel Snap.

How is Marvel Snap indie?
It’s clear he has a love for games that not enough decision makers do, but is he using the term to refer to games and publishers that are simply “small”?
The article even includes the term “indie publisher” which is an oxymoron.
AFAIK there is no Switch 2 version? It’s just running it as a switch 1 game.
