3 months agoExpanse did it amazingly imo, it also adds some realism into a otherwise very fictional story, which makes it somewhat easier to vibe with it.

1·4 months agoYeah, that’s why it’s so hard to ditch those major platforms. Because you could join an alternative but it would likely mean not being able to interact with many things, not sure if I would make that trade-off.
It would be amazing to ditch the company control and so. The main problem is that it’s difficult to get users to join it. I mean just look at how many people still use reddit and discord.
Don’t know anything about unix rice, but looks nice. Clicked because i didn’t see unixporn and was expecting literall rice
2·4 months agoEu might ditch some us software. Highly doubt that it will respect your privacy though, more and more countries here are pushing id-verification for social media and other stuff
1·4 months agoShould be fine on more modern cars (ie. Everything with fuel injection, newer than 1990)
I run gas that’s probably 1-2y old in my pickup and never had any issues.
Just beware that ethanol might hurt rubber lines if you have them. So best to mix it with some new gas over time
That’s probably the most legit show thought I’ve ever seen
Another option is to use some old/bad drives in a raid setup with lots of redundancy. I still wouldn’t store anything mission critical on there but it’s fine for most things

While i dislikes ai i think it’s one of the only ways to create a foss software with a small time with a reasonably small number of people. But this does indeed just look like a no-effort ai post
