I just want to point out that saying something has the same energy doesn’t imply that it is the same thing in intensity. In fact, often we are hyperbolic to highlight the kind of energy that we are talking about.

The reason why you are getting down voted is also not because of your opinion that these things are different, in intensity or whatever, but because it feels like you really want to make that difference. Why do you care so much about that difference? Why are you defending bad behaviour from being compared to other bad behaviour? Why do you care? Most of people that you called autistic (in a prejorative manner), understand that as you trying to justify that behavior, and the answer to the question of “why would they” is that they understand you as such a person. A person who is acting in a way and is trying to excuse it.

Of course, I don’t claim such a thing but I thought, I would help you to understand this social event in your life, as these can be difficult to understand for some people, e.g. autistic people. It also allows for monopoles. Fundamentally, copyright is the right to have a monopoly on the idea, which would be fine if it wasn’t abused. Like in streaming services. Anyone who didn’t feel like watching something with subtitles and tried to filter for only dubbed shows, or speak multiple languages, knows that the service is shit on all of them and the competition is entirely based on exclusive rights on media. That is obviously not how copyright is intended. There is no reason why e.g. netflix could buy the right for xyz for abc money and Disney plus shouldn’t be able to buy the same rights for the same show for the same price. Not if you want to claim that the point of copyright is to allow the creator to profit from their work.

The rest of your comment is disappointing. You know that I didn’t mean that a customer can’t sexually assault a server or former server. I meant that if the server quits, they are not longer being sexualized as part of their job and unless people are fucking creeps, their former employment should continue to sexualize them.

Also well it is a regrettable career. That doesn’t mean you have to regret it. But it is certainly regrettable like any other career.
