I see this in every thread. He was a felon when he was running. People voted for a felon. The American people wanted a criminal in the white house. The guy all previous generals who worked with him warned against. 77 million people are responsible for these firings, plus whatever many stayed home and didn’t vote. His campaign promise was to replace everyone with loyalists.
Counterpoint: 77 million people did. He was not hidden. He was with trump on stage, doing the awkward jumps and all. It was obvious he would have the power.

More money? Immigrants consume, pay taxes, commit less crimes than locals, and have no entitlement for tax dollars in assistance… they are an undoubted net positive for the economy. Every immigrant deported is a tiny reduction of the US economy and less money in the pockets of each person.

I can tell you who cares, and they care a whole lot…
I have no insight into the US military, but I have worked in cybersecurity for the better part of a decade. I have never once met an (openly) transgender person, and I had a very broad role. I interacted with hundreds of people across teams. It was a very liberal environment, so I doubt it was fear of coming out. A bunch openly gay devs, all very well respected, got promotions at similar rates to the team average.
I think it’s more of a reddit/lemmy stereotype.

I use mostly my phone for everything not work related. It’s in my pocket at all times. It’s faster than my ancient ThinkPad. It uses less power. It has a higher resolution screen. It has better speakers. Other than keyboard, it’s better in every way.
Unless I need to type more than 3 minutes, or open more than 3 tabs, I just use my phone. Includes sshing into the odd server for a quick check or tweak.
My wife uses her laptop maybe once a month. Most “normies” rarely use a computer, some even don’t own one.

First of all, leave the goalpost where it was and re-read the definition of the word. Nowhere it mentions allies, friends, or the wife of your cousin’s neighbor. So on that you were dead wrong.
Second, if one trusts Japan or South Korea but not China… You say it’s because of racism. There is no aaaany other reason. Not at all? Really?
