Possibly the best joke in Season 8

Okay, that’s comforting. I thought it was like a final episode thing.

One thing that I’ve realized upon rewatching Breaking Bad is that the Breaking Bad I know and love, the one that I rave about, is really just Seasons 4 & 5.

I don’t know a single Breaking Bad fan that watched through the whole show at once. In fact, I would say most people put it down around the middle of the show’s run.

Yeah, Season 2 is boring as fuck. Season 3 doesn’t pick up until halfway through. It’s not exactly the killer drama that the first season and the fans advertised it to be. But the overall story is what keeps me coming back. Walter is our protagonist in almost every season. But in Season 5, he is undoubtedly the villain. I guess the draw of the show is the turn, which you don’t get to without finishing it.

Slow-burn as fuck. Worth finishing.

Okay so I love Mike Schur, but I know the twist of The Good Place and that’s stayed me from prioritizing watching it.

My question to you is, does knowing the twist change some of the comedy for a first viewing?

Yeah the fact that The Office UK is on here and not The IT Crowd just shows they included it due to proximity to The Office US and don’t watch British TV.

Honestly from what I’ve seen of PEN15 it does belong on the list.

Looks pretty good, honestly. It seems to be going for an ultra-cinematic dream. Feels like that adequately captures the memory of OoT, which seems to be what they’re going for with this round of remakes.

But I hate the voice acting. I’d be fine if they voice-acted the game, but they’ve inserted so much dialogue in. The guards yelling in the back of the scene where Ganondorf kidnaps Zelda fuckin ruined it for me man. The stillness and the score of that original moment… fuck.

3DS remake is way too bright, but it’s still kinda the best remake of that. I do hope they bring something like that to HD soon, quite frankly.

I know for a fact Bin Laden had games and the movie Cars on his computer. Safest bet.
