Sounds like a raw deal. It’s nice to have severance package but the price is losing your pension if you leave… not worth it. Companies change, get shitty, and then you’d be stuck with it.

Can someone explain me how pensions work? Isn’t that some sort of 401k that is tied to the company and you lose access to when you switch companies?

I have to use Windows 11 for work. It’s bad. But this past weekend my son was getting poor performance of a steam game so I dusted off the old windows partition to see if it was a compatibility issue (it wasn’t, my hardware simply doesn’t cut it - but it sucked less on Linux). But damn, managing a windows system is TERRIBLE.

Finding a farm close where you want is made unnecessarily difficult by the site’s interface. The grouping of states in regions is a hindrance and once you get to your state, the farms can’t be sorted other than by their name, so you have to look through every single one of them to find the farms close to you.

Great idea, terrible execution.
