Celsius is defined at the arbitrary standard pressure, different pressure values change how water acts (this is very noticeable at 100C - boiling). Kelvin steps are defined from Celsius. Even the speed of light which is constant is still defined in terms of an arbitrary time unit.

Like you I find value in discussions here overall. However there is a lot to not like. and sometimes I just have to laugh at how bad the echo chamber is. And other times at how unwilling people are to admit how bad the echo chamber is.

I suggest you get off of Lemmy then. While there is some good things here, the echo chamber is even worse than the Trump one (which is saying a lot)

There are a lot who left the republican party to make that happen and they want back in. (maybe not the republican party, they are looking at other third parties, but the democrats are not doing anything to make this group welcome. There are also a lot who don’t like Trump, but are hoping that if they stand a few years of him the Trump years will pass and they will bring the party back to what they want. Right now if you are a republican you have to at least give public lip service to Trump - this makes it hard to tell who really is for Trump and who is riding this wave out.

I have a 60% bluetooth keyboard that I’ll use when I need to type on my phone. A pain to carry with me, but taking a whole laptop is sometimes even worse.

Go slow. measure 4 times. most rooms don’t need a jack so put APs where it is easy to ge wires and that will feed the other rooms.
