So long as they’re doing the dishes and shitting the the composting toilet; fair enough.
If not though, everyone can always blame their parents and use that as an excuse for never actually evolving into something better.
I hope it is better wherever you live, but I still see a lot of teenagers wanting to drive cars; so fuck those cunts.
Most tea-shits are actually made from cotton or polyester too; it’s a fucking scandal.
Did you try typing [email protected] as your email address?
IRL you don’t need an email account to do road violence. Simulator is worse than life. Matrix, confirmed.
Love playing SuperTuxKart. I love the ability to change game files to make it my own experience. I love the ability to download custom content through
Sounds like it is not broken, better fix it until it is.
Meh it’s open source, fork it.

They were part state subsidised, but became rapidly self sustaining. If your British made galleon is shit, don’t worry, it only needs to last long enough to steal a French made one!
Just a point of information though I think ‘capitalists’ normally (nominally) support property rights. I think you’re talking libertarian / anarchist who are more literally smash and grab. But it is a blurry line. At the end of the day they’re all just humans. Striving to label them, or their behaviour, and then second guessing the meaning of the labels, or expecting consistency will probably drive you insane.

An ‘adult’ being someone who is mature enough to not to instigate or escalate these types of situation. I think both drivers should be banned from driving until they can prove that they are competent to operate heavy machinery.

If you’re stuck with old windy narrow tracks then yes youre going to be limited.
Trains like shinkansen can go very fast through dense urban areas, i think mostly in tunnels - but also because they spend a lot to straighten the routes. Obviously there are still some slow sections, but they minimize it by design - and probably a willingness to bulldoze historical land ownership.
I guess in Philly the route probably winds around a bit. https://www.openrailwaymap.org/ It looks like all lines funnel through a couple of very tight curves around the centre. That looks like quite a sensitive choke point.
But apart from that section it looks like the acela limit is over 100mph for quite a lot of the urban area around Philly, which isn’t too bad. Its not like its crawling around at 60mph for half the distance.
There’s another interesting looking slow chicane in Wilmington. In that case there’s what looks like an ideal bypass line already there for any express. It runs through a massive siding (freight maybe?) that is limited to 10-30mph. Looks like a no brainer to me, strengthen those bridges and run any express through that. plenty of dead space around there to reconfigure just one level crossing i think to worry about. most of it is 3-4 tracks already judging by google map.
I heard that US freight and passenger rail don’t like to share and enjoy though so probably that’s a non starter.

Sounds like he wanted to do a 1 man blitz, in order to reverse the outcomes of the actual ‘blitz’, but thankfully he turned out to be more of a V1 doodlebug.

So they’re a clear improvement. I reckon E-bikes probably wont be as successful as petrol bikes because they don’t meet the goal of pissing off everyone in a 2km radius.
bryndos@fedia.ioto Fuck Cars@lemmy.world•Opinion: Too-Fast Riders Could Be The Downfall of E-Bike Culture6·15 days agoAgree, this is the problem. e-bikes aren’t worth enough to the people in power.
if we limited them to 30kph
:) - yimby please; but i cant see how this will happen in my country (other than through congestion).

That’s probably why risc-v is getting quite popular in embedded stuff - smaller companies wanting more supply chain independence. Hopefully it’ll start to get more powerful soon for more serious computing. Its nice that stuff like debian now has risk-v version too.
