No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•instead of asking, "what tasks l have for the day ?" , is it better to ask, "What do l feel like doing now ?"
1·1 month ago@GreenBeard I agree with your concluding sentence.

1·1 month ago@FuglyDuck wait a second. A flight from India to the USA takes about 24 hours. It’s basically the difference of a day. But if you look at the local clocks before boarding the flight and after alighting, there may not be any shift in time, although there’s been immense change in space.
Following a similar example, it would be interesting to note the differences after one has returned back after a voyage into space.

1·1 month ago@melsaskca well yes, if you look at it that way…
But l’d mentioned about two distinct concepts, space and time, and you brought in a mysterious third ??🤔🤔🤔

0·1 month ago@ChaoticNeutralCzech wait a moment. Suppose l’m taking a bath in the river. The more I move horizontally, the temperature of the water changes. The deeper (vertically) l move, pressure starts changing.
Is that what you meant ??
