Also saw Reacher started a new season. I’m debating it, because I was not impressed with how the last season ended. I’ve read all the books and I think they really went overboard at the end of season 2. It’s too bad because the first season was perfect, IMO.

Something about his hair in the show and I guess lighting and makeup makes him look really different to me.

The new season has been pretty good, except for the one where they went to the Iron forge. That one seemed kind of all over the place. Only real low point in the whole show for me so far.

It was enjoyable, but he became insufferable about half to ⅔ of the way through. Didn’t realize there would be a season2, but it makes sense.

I have to swap out 2 hard drives. One in a new Mac Mini for my wife, and another for a 2013 iMac that I’m seeing if I can use for a Linux desktop.

Watched Bad Monkey. I’ve enjoyed Carl Hiaasen books in the past, and this is has that vibe. A little too much Vince Vaughn, though.

It’s actually a very simple ploy they’ve used since before I was born (I’m not young). Anything they can paint as sexual, or that actually is out of the sexual “norm,” they will use as a scapegoat. They used it against blacks (coming after their white women), gays, and now trans. Pedophilia and rape are the two Worst Things, and if they can tie the Bad Guy du jour, that equals fear-votes. The best kind of right wing votes in all the land.

So here’s the thing - this is not illegal, and there’s nothing wrong with that. People have a right to gather and exercise free speech. Now, where are the same meetings for Democrats!?

This is my problem with the Dems. They play this game like the same rules from 70 years ago are in play! Republicans are so much better at formulating a message and beating it into peoples’ heads over decades! Every poll taken on abortion rights indicate the majority of Americans want them and yet here we are! They won that one, and people gave them a victory lap with a clean sweep of congress and the Executive! Dems need to wake the fuck up and start playing to win like their opponents have been doing! That includes sessions like the Koch’s are having, and things like P2025.
