What happens when the student asks why a specific mark was given, or how they can improve on the next one?
Agreed, just trying to explain what I saw to othes.
The leaky bucket caused the row of flowers to grow.
Moral is something like, ‘even if you think you’re failing at a task, your benefit is simply not being measured / seen.’
Its because cloudflare is having issues. https://www.cloudflarestatus.com/

Happy to help plan something though, or add a Zoom / virtual equivalent.
And the publicity of being another AI ad.

Fuck Cars@lemmy.world•The "cargo van" that's actually a cargo bike (that's actually an electric cargo tuk-tuk)English
11·3 months agoPretty dumb that the pedals aren’t connected, and are instead an overly complex “go” button.
But vehicles like this are great to have, as long as your city has the infrastructure to support bikes, walking, and public transit.
I’m about 300+ deep and let me tell you…

Books@lemmy.world•What book(s) are you currently reading or listening to? October 14
7·3 months agoI really liked Redshirts by John Scalzi. Just added Old Man’s War!
I’m about halfway through The Galaxy, and the Ground Within by Becky Chambers. It’s the 4th book in the (semi-non-linear) series. So far I really liked books 1 and 2, 3 was meh, and 0.5 was fine, but expected. 4 is captivating.

News@lemmy.world•Stars protest after AI actress gets agency interest: ‘What about living young women?’
2·3 months agoHollywood “stars” are the very very few actors who have made it big. While you may know hundreds of famous actors, there are 170,000 in SAG and way more just trying to get by acting in small parts.
While this is a flashy headline/“product” AI is quickest to replace those with less money, lower status, and smaller roles. I’m glad actors with a platform are using it to stand against this.

That’s about $23,000 per person in the US (estimating 350m population). That’s life changing money for most.
