Wow that’s crazy. In the UK Apple Maps and probably others will offer to re-route me mid trip if it finds a faster route. Plus is insanely accurate if I leave home at 06:45 for a 39 mile trip it will say arrive 07:56 and sure enough I’m usually within a few mins.
Like the other guy said. I also have 3 viable routes to work so I change depending on traffic and some of those routes have their own variations.
I live close to a ring motorway so I can get on to work and drive east or west and there is a two mile difference over 40 miles. Or I can take the road route and save a lot of stop start on the motorway and takes a little longer but is less miles.
Doesn’t need to be made by Google. It could be self hosted. Be the change you want to see in the world 😉
Crazy people. We get 4 weeks at the start and then 1 extra per year for five years. So total 5 weeks paid holiday. Only work 33 hours a week too. Some companies treat people well, just have to get lucky and find a small one.

Truly. I’ve been on the motorway before with a dude seemingly angry about something I did, not sure what, that he was chasing me across the motorway even if I went from lane 4 to 1 and back he was there.
Some people are insane. Best to avoid them even if you can handle yourself as some people won’t let it go and not worth the fight if you’re not immediately in danger.

I like longer daylight it’s key to me being happy, but I have a car now with led strips all over and I rarely get to drive at night so be nice to drive home again in the dark in winter
