Normally I would, just was in a rush lol. And I always save the fat after cooking it off for future use!
I wanted to try and emulate what a person might eat if they had one of the food bags from like BG3 or something. Lol. Very fantasy oriented, like I’m making a trek somewhere distant and this is the easy and healthy travel rations.
For sure the honey on the fruit, but habanero and bleu cheese is great with the bacon, and the peas and turkey with some black pepper and green onions go well.
