and it wasn’t bogged down in bloat by trying to be any bigger than it ought to have been.
It must be nice when your standards conveniently align with whatever makes the developers work less.

Nowhere near as good as Fallout 4, though.
Also, insultingly short.
Ahh yes, perpetually renting access and being beholden to price hikes “just because.”
Makes sense all the morons who subscribe to netflix and spotify are also stupid enough to shill game pass.
I think it has more to do with how much they’re charging rather than them charging anything at all.
i.e. They’re maximizing profit off of people’s low standards by charging the most people are willing to pay while giving the least they’re willing to accept.
If this honestly had to be spelled out for you and you’re not just being willfully ignorant, you should really get some remedial education before shitting on others.
The developers can’t pay rent with good vibes.
They can consume less and live in cheaper areas.
But why would they unless they’re forced to?
How dare you use economic theory against them!?
Don’t you realize gamers are supposed to be stupid children who will gladly pay whatever price is asked of them?
Thank you for your contribution.
Yeah, it doesn’t surprise me.
Just gonna be another torrent for me.
Fuck these hypocrites. They’re all greedy, entitled consumerists.
More shit I can convince my friends to buy so we can drop it 2 weeks later for the next low-effort pile of trash?
Nah, I’ll pass.
Star Citizen has such a headstart on an actual space MMO.
Other businesses have 0 chance in catching up.
Warms me heart to see all these gamers finally growing a pair and treating business as business.
if you can get something for free, do it. Corporations are not your friends.
Inquisition was their best selling game.
Was it? Even if it was, you have to consider the cost and time that goes into making it.
Also, where’s the post-release monetization? Like it or not, fantasy games made for smart people unfortunately are held to the same standard as sports games made for morons.
Honestly, closing down bioware would be a mercy-killing at this point.
This is what happens when creators let people who don’t care infect their art.
It’s the safe reddit-writing that has become very prevalent in western studios.
These people would be better off writing fanfic because they don’t care about the universe; only their agendas.
If you look at it critically, Dragon Age Origins and Awakening are really the only good games in the series.
It went to shit, fast. Now they’re just pandering to the wrong people expecting it to save their game when everyone who was interested in the original has long since moved on.
I don’t expect the average switch user to be intelligent enough to see value in a Steam Deck.
not forced behavior for end users.
This is what I’m constantly criticizing. It’s fine to have more options, but they should be options and not mandatory.
No, having to scroll past an AI summary for every fucking article is not an ‘option.’ Having the option to hide it forever (or even better, opt-in), now that’s a real option.
I’d really love to see the opt-in/opt-out data for AI. I guarantee businesses aren’t including the option or recording data because they know it will show people don’t want it, and they have to follow the data!
Good. I don’t really care about youtube, but less censorship is always a good thing.
How can you people say you respect science when you support silencing any criticism of it? That’s not science. That’s religion.
That said, this criteria clearly only exists to protect “influencers” who make youtube a proportional amount of money. If you have a channel with very little traffic and you say something controversial, you’d better believe your “freedom of expression value” will not be high enough to outweigh the corporation’s perceived “harm risk.”
So you’re saying copyright and patent laws only exist to help rich people?
I guess that would make all of the workers defending them ‘useful idiots’ then.
How about they don’t pay it and voice their discontent?
