I know someone with a vinyl collection, that’s even worse. Though at least vinyl sleeves don’t feel as cheap as those plastic CD cases. And noisy vinyl is probably nicer than skipping CDs, though they both suck in their own way.

For me the bulk would be music CDs. Those aren’t even that nice as physical items …
For me, the issue tends to be that while I don’t mind listening to music where I don’t understand the lyrics, I do mind listening to music that might be outright anti-LGBT, misogynist etc.; I mostly stopped listening to Jamaican music because of that - not saying that it’s all like that, but the chance of a given song being like that is higher than I’m comfortable with. Also, Rastafarian is whack.
Israel being part of Eurovision isn’t a new thing. The only difference is that they’ve been going mask off on their genocide aspirations lately.
I really like physical media. Thing is, I don’t have the space for shelves upon shelves of physical media.
I rip them from youtube, that way I don’t have to log into anything first.
Let’s hope the new owners won’t destroy it.
TBF English is an extremely common second language, so listening to English-language music as a German or French person doesn’t have quite the same impact as an American listening to German- or French-language music.
With the low level of detail that’s used for most anime faces and the wild (by Japanese standards, anyway) hair colors, it’s usually pretty much impossible to tell without context whether a character is meant to be asian or european.
On a more ideological level, Japan was allied with Nazi Germany and committed a lot of atrocities back then, and they always had strong anti-immigration policies and an advantageous position to enforce them (island nation, difficult writing system etc.).
we don’t know how those boobs are made and they may not cave and be more resistant to denting given the extra room for reinforcement
That’s going to increase the weight by quite a bit, which is a critical issue for armor. It would be much more useful to reinforce an efficient shape.
No, it’s pronounced fow-veh!
If you hit the outer part sure (though they’ll dent and cave in very easily, which would quickly negate any advantage), but if you hit between the boobs you’ll actually get more purchase than if you hit someone with a flat-chested armor.
Is it though? The whole “contoured torso” design is quite detrimental to protection, you want it bulging outward in a wide arc. And you don’t want your neck expossed like that, either. Though the person to the right of him with considerably less slutty armor has very similar design issues.
For roughly Jetta-sized cars by Volkswagen, it’s usually Passat or Golf (including the ‘Golf variant’ station wagon). VW Passat is fairly common as a police car, too.
Indeed. Though interestingly, the Jetta seems to be much more common abroad, t’s a pretty rare car in Germany.
At least some of them probably genuinely believe that, and AFAIK it is more or less true for filterless butts. Maybe we should replace some of the gore pics we have on cigarette packets with information about environmental effects …
Maybe it’s because smokers already have to make the decision to blow toxic smoke around where other people (most of them non-smokers nowadays) are likely to breathe it in - it’s pretty much an inherently anti-social activity nowadays, so the step to littering your smoking trash isn’t that big. Maybe related to broken window theory?
Roommates pay rent and buy their own food.
AFAIK complete amnesia is rarely permanent, so it would probably fix itself most of the time if there’s no serious compounding issues.
Either way, the likelyhood of two missing people in the same general area looking so similar that their family can’t tell them apart visually seems extremely low.
That’s definitely a thing, too. I can only imagine how bad it must be in smaller nations like Netherlands or Czechia, considering how much fewer native speakers they have compared to German or French.
