Haha, that’s the way to play. Going everywhere and doing everything except what you are supposed to do.

Hehe, good luck. Going to change your island residents too?
Welcome to the world of JRPGs.
Turn based JRPGs is a really, really long list. There are many different kind of games in the genre. You can try Octopath Traveler and it’s sequel. I personally thought it was quite repetitive but people seem to love it. It’s very beautiful and introduced 2D-HD visuals.
Then there’s Persona series. Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Royal both are available on Switch, I think. As well as Shin Megami Tensei V. (Persona games are spin-off of SMT series).
If you like more laid back experience, with more focus on crafting then actual combat, then try Atelier series. Atelier Ryza is latest one and has 3 games in the series, a newer game with new characters and story, Atelier Yuma is coming out this year.
Dragon Quest games are classics, you can try the latest one in the series Dragon Quest XI, or remake of the older game Dragon Quest 3 Remake which released recently.
That’s some on top of my head, there are many more.
Also going to summon @[email protected] , he is the creator of [email protected] , he can share some of his favourites too.
That’s weird about New Game Plus, but I guess it give you an incentive to play the game again.
Is the first Wario Land available on NSO? I would live to give it a try. Never played any Wario Land game.
Ahan, that’s nice to hear.
Wow, that’s a lot. Good luck!
Yeah, that’s what I did. Ran quickly as far as I could, then when couple of Fission metroids came near, power bomb and then run again. Was able to reach the boss easily with that.
Wow, just 50% map completion! How’s the traversal? Easy to go back to older places? I never realised how important it is until I played Metroid Prime. 😀
It’s A “The Lord of the Rings ™” Game.
Oh yeah, the most annoying section. It’s right before the final boss, so the health loss there is also very annoying.
I am looking forward to it. Would love to hear you opinion / review.
There’s a small interview with voice actors Kappei Yamaguchi, Ai Orikasa, and Seiichiro Yamashita: https://www.gematsu.com/2025/02/2d-action-rpg-samurai-pizza-cats-blast-from-the-past-announced-for-all-major-platforms
It is good. People seem to love it, but as someone who mostly plays RPGs and hasn’t played much single player FPS (at least not recently), I can’t really judge how it stands with other games in the genre.
I think it took me 6-7 hours to finish it, and I wouldn’t have minded it if it was even twice as long. So that is good. And yeah, there is some of that military drama too.
Would love to hear your opinion, if you do get around to playing it.
Are live limited in the game? What happens if you lose all the lives?
I played CoD today too. Finished Modern Warfare Remastered campaign. It wasn’t very long, I think took me 3 days to finish it.
I have CoD WWII too, haven’t heard much about it’s campaign before, but it sounds good, so will give it a try too.
I found that unless I am switching between last 2-3 things, it was often quicker to just go in the menu and select from there. At least in the later half.
I guess they didn’t want to keep the plan for the whole Switch 2 generation, so decided to shut it down before it launch, rather than at some random time during the generation. Cause I am assuming it will be the same store for both Switch and Switch 2 (that is, the app and interface may be different, but it would be same store behind the scene, and on nintendo website)
Oh, that’s sad. I enjoyed saving my gold coins then using them to buy a game without spending anything else.
Still, it was just something extra, so happy for the time we had it.
So, here’s the info about MindsEye built on “Everywhere”:

Ah, thanks for the correction.
