I don’t think there are many people in US that love current Iran regime, bit there is a difference between not liking it and starting a war.
Also I am so fucking tired of that argument “yeah, what he does is not good but Harris would be worse”
We don’t know, since taco is in charge, but we know that Netanyahu was livid when she commented how Israel is handling Palestine. Netanyahu also met with trump in July last year, now we know he likely wanted to have guarantees that trump will back Israel is it comes down to this.
And lastly, trump already tried to start war with Iran in 2019, but failed. He later also said he did it because Netanyahu told him to, which shows how weak he is.
US is already an oil net exporter. Taco doesn’t care about Europe either so I don’t think oil is the motive as it was before.
IMO this is more of being Israel’s lap dog. Given initial confusion what to say (whether US is involved or not) I think taco observed that their attacks were successful so he wanted to put his name under it. It is also good distraction with tons of things that happened in last week. It will have longer term consequences, but he never thinks that far.
Edit: I saw this mentioned by someone and it actually fits with the rest they did so far. What if trump actually wants an Iran terrorist attack on US soil? He hired 22 year old grocery bagger with minor in landscaping to head counterterrorism branch of DHS. Explicitly stated against what Rubio initially was saying that this is a war.
He sent almost 5,000 troops to LA to squash 1,000 protesters with false pretenses that country is at war. They had nothing to do and are still in LA even after the riots (that happened on just 5 blocks of the city) ended.
If Iran (or even false flag attack pretending to be Iran) would happen he would suddenly have excuse to put troops in other cities.
The fucking rhetoric about Iranian sleeper cells seems like preparation to label protesters as Iranian agents.
