Have you done it? Where did you move from, where did you move to? Did you have living relatives? Did you have in demand experience? Are you gay, transgender, or queer in any way? In what ways is the country you moved to better than the one you moved from? How much time did you have to spend total for moving, including research, applying for visas, visiting the country, learning the culture, moving your family, finding a job etc?

Mom and pop shops cant afford to pay you. And the general sentument here on lemmy is if you cant pay someone whatever they need then your business doesnt deserve to exist. So by extension everything would shut down and LARGE portions of society would starve and die until only those capable of completely sustaining themselves through several winters survive

Co-ops already exist and have gor hundreds of years yet still havent taken over. They dont scale well as shown by history and current reality.
