    I’m wishywashy on this. I certainly oppose all that ICE is doing. But if you are going to protest in the streets, either block the whole thing or don’t. A human corridor for cars to drive through is never a good idea. And when it is really an angry mob, I can’t blame anyone for speeding their way through and possibly hitting someone like this. I blame them for working for ICE, and that is more than enough really to damn anyone to whatever hell you believe in. But this, this just isn’t a thing. If anything, the local police should be keeping the protester off the road so that they are at least safe. This half way human corridor stuff is just unproductive BS.

      While I agree with you in theory that protestors should either block the road entirely or stay out of the street, it appears to me that the driver veered hard to the left in order to strike the pedestrian. This incident should certainly be investigated and any crimes charged.

        I dunno, the driver easily could have veered hard left because they thought someone was moving in on the right. I mean if someone recorded them saying it was jntentional or something, sure. But it is really hard to prove intent in this situation. I just can’t stand this half ass trying to push the line crap. Either get enough people and fing riot, or stick to a peaceful out of the way protest. Halfway just leads to some people getting hurt, or arrested while it doesn’t have any more effectiveness than peaceful out of the way protest.
