I didn’t get an option to vote against.

        From the Union FAQ:

What will I put on my ballot? How do I reject REI’s candidates?

For each candidate, the ballot will give you an option to vote “For” them or “Withhold” your vote against them. You can reject REI’s candidates by voting “Withhold.” By doing so, you’ll signal to REI that you’re ready to see a change on the board away from corporate leadership. It’s time for REI to get back to its roots.

REI has great things. I love their generics of clothing which is amazing. Would be even better if they were unionized. I just voted withdraw on everyone. Its a member co-op it should be union at least.

It looks like the 11th store voted to unionize just this January:

      REI Greensboro WINS Union Election

      January 24th, 2025 - via RWDSU:

“Tonight, the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union (RWDSU) announced that workers at the REI Co-op in Greensboro, North Carolina voted to join the RWDSU, making REI Greensboro the eleventh unionized REI store in the country. Greensboro workers proudly unite with green vests organizing under the banner of the REI Union from coast to coast, fighting for fair pay, guaranteed hours, a clear path to full-time status, and transfer opportunities within the company.”

The REI Union is absolutely thrilled to have our coworkers in Greensboro joining our movement. We can’t wait to see what they accomplish with their collective voice as they start negotiating with REI over the changes they need to see at their store. Congratulations Greensboro!

I wonder if my local store in Minnesota is union yet. I can’t see any list on the website. But 11 stores is great
