Neat, but I don’t think a city they can enforce that for online adds, which are probably more impactful these days.
Title doesn’t cover the details, the ban is for advertisement in public space.
Wonder if more cities / countries join if that will impact online advertisement. Don’t think i’ve ever seen a tabacco ad online, while they can’t really enforce that either. Perhaps there will come a point where sites that display ads don’t want income from fossil fuel ads. There is a clear distinction in where porn ads are displayed and where not, so i assume it wouldn’t be a problem technically
Probably not, and it is an interesting one because youtube frequently has adverts that do not follow UK advertising regulations, especially from sponsorships.
We need to do that as people of the world, The Internet as long gotten away with murder. This is an way down the line issue, but definitely a must have issue.
Maybe I don’t pay enough attention to the ads, but I never saw petrol or meat ads around the city in the first place.
Not even a burger add? Or a supermarket add for plofkip?
No fossils? How is the Natural History Museum supposed to draw in families?
By the way what’s your favorite dinosaur? Or dinosaur-related thing? I like when my box turtle does his Brontosaurus imitation. And when hummingbirds behave like velociraptors.
How is Fossil supposed to advertise their watches now!?
AWESOME 1ST. Step!
