And most democratic leadership is either too inept, bought out, or just actively enables our fascist takeover. They’re uninterested in doing what’s necessary to serve the public as opposed to serving themselves and their donors.

I feel like a lot of those Democrat rules are self imposed from decades of catering to Republicans and maintaining “decorum.” As well most are just repeating the same line: “Do good, as long as you make more money from it.”

    Here is the situation:

Virginia’s redistricting to to favor democrats failed. California is not enough. We needed VA to go through. The voting rights act is gone. The solid blue black districts in the South are being erased and gerrymandered out of existence. Those districts have been almost single handily been holding back the red tide back for half a century. Without those the dems will loose the house and the republicans will have control of congress for generations.

    THIS WAS THE ELECTION CANCELLATION

If the Democrats don’t do something drastic in the coming months then the Dem who is elected president in '28 better be Julias fucking Caesar incarnate or we are fucked. It’s as simple as that.

Gerrymandering works by diluting (not erasing) the opposition to steal votes with your core. If inflation is at 20% and people can’t afford to live then it doesn’t matter how you slice it, you’re not gonna do well.

The reason this is possible is because the media is completely controlled by billionaires. They have the ability to make slightest legal infraction by Democrats A BIG BREAKING SCANDAL for months. So Democrats must be perfect and republicans can do anything without the public being aware.

Right, I’m sure it has nothing at all to do with all the billionaires and Zionazis who donate obscene amounts of money to Dem campaigns. Nope, just the media that is rotten, not the party that never accomplishes anything except funding Pissrael.

More accurately, they both started with the same book, the Republicans have just ripped out all of the pages over time and are left only with the empty cover.

Needs to be a small chalk board for the Republicans. With that chalk haze from many erasings, but currently reading "Do as we say, not as we do. "

Conservatism is just in-groups to protect and out-groups to behind. They don’t care about consistency or fairness.

So you’ll vote for them regardless of what they do, enabling their conduct. The quote below was in the specific context of the black vote (using Malcom X’s original language), but these days, it applies to basically the entire working class to some degree:

The Democrats have been in Washington, D.C. only because of the Negro vote. They’ve been down there four years. And they’re – all other legislation they wanted to bring up they’ve brought it up, and gotten it out of the way, and now they bring up you. And now they bring up you! You put them first and they put you last. Because you’re a chump! [applause] A political chump. - Malcom X (Source)

😱😱 Democrats are so weak and misguided! They can’t oppose Republicans properly! We need to fight over this more instead of considering a 3rd party that breaks this entire dynamic (maybe call it the wrench party?)

Fediverse: As someone who understands history, I am worried about the Republican slide into autocracy.

Also the Fediverse: All we need are some special and temporary emergency powers to get around the rule of law… maybe a Decree of the US President for the Protection of People and State?

Come on man, it’s not like Obama used drone strikes to assassinate any United States citizens or anything.

Yes, there are exceptions to rules and exceptions to the exceptions… it makes a thick book with many pages.

But I feel Republicans also have very important rules. They’re simpler, fewer, but stricter. There’s no “it depends”, just “and fuck you if you have a problem with that”.
=> Their book is just as hefty as the Democrats’, but each page is an inch thick.
