Weird to say that when the artist has made the art the key point in the drama. The ‘art’ kind of is the drama. I can’t speak to your town, but the leftist orgs in my area are organizing a number of efforts to help feed & house people, along with any number of events to improve the area for the people living in it. They’re also working on the political side to push for ranked-choice voting, challenging voter suppression efforts, etc.
Just because you’re not paying attention doesn’t mean they aren’t putting in the work.
