“G-Rated” is a North American film classification indicating that a movie is suitable for all audiences, and is generally assigned to children’s films. In order to make a pornographic movie “G-Rated” one would cut out all of the sexually explicit material. Thus, whenever you see the word “Later” in the comic strip, that indicates a place where that material was excised.

The joke being that a G-Rated porno would be a very dull movie about friendly people.

You know, it never occurred to me that most pornos depict an inherently friendly world. Everybody wants to introduce themselves to their new neighbors, everybody tips the pizza guy, everybody’s willing to cut poor people a break by accepting alternative forms of payment, different races get along famously, teachers are able to dedicate time to one-on-one tutoring, blended families are very accepting of each other, etc.

Ah I didn’t catch the title until after your comment. If you don’t read the title you are unlikely to figure this out.

And you also need to know what G-rated means. I know the US has these censorship ratings, but I must admit I have never bothered to use any effort to figure out what each of them means, since it has no relevance to me.
