      That’s apparently not true, since the majority of you did vote for them.

      I mean, I know how hard it sucks to have that keep happening. I know the only thing worse than having a shit Government is knowing that your idiot countrymen actually want it.

        Only a third of people that voted did so for Labour. Out of people able to vote, just under 60% actually voted. To a lot of people I think our most recent election can very much be summed up by “Well these choices are shit”.

        Fun fact, Conservatives and LibDem combined got a greater voter turnout than Labour.

        It wasn’t the majority of us because I don’t even think we barely made it over the majority of people registered to vote, to actually vote.

        Same goes for brexit, (number out of my arse but) I think about 30+% didn’t vote either way, yet they treat it like the majority of the country overall wanted it.

        Plus the current government were only voted in to stop a worse one from continuing, and they seem to be going back on the principals both what they campaigned for as well as what the party has been historically known for.
