If you do then, no it doesnt have cult like behaviour. Lots of catholics, lutherans, calvinists, hugenots, zwinglinists and anglicans dont even get near cultish. If they wouldnt tell you, at none of their behaviours would you notice which religion if at all they are a part off. Its not an every day talk topic like with the free churches, prespetarians, mega churches, quakers aso in the US.
The church is getting constantly mocked in media. On good german media that had a focus on it is “Das kleine Arschloch” (the little asshole).
