Seriously, fuck AI. With all the search engines shoving AI suggestions, I tried to give them a task that should be easy: Find me a deal on vegetable oil in my city. Flyers are readily available online, so I figured they’d be able to pull this off.
I got a non-specific bullshit answer that was somehow both inaccurate AND useless.
Stop using it, even for testing or mundane shit. All you’re doing is creating a sense of demand by using it which people like Altman use to get even more money because “numbers.”
You can also turn off the AI suggestions in some search engines, or better yet start using a search engine that doesn’t do that shit.
