This is another one where I’m not sure if I got the translation right. Google translates it as “Jucika sits down”, but that seemed a little off, so I searched some more and found that some forms of the verb mean “to be impatient”, “to be in a rush”, etc. and went with that because it matches the comic.

Again, stay tuned here on [email protected] for a slow trickle out of Jucika comics, but if you want to find more, here’s a good post with a large collection that /u/[email protected] posted last year: https://piefed.social/post/1258520.

For more context, egér is apparently “mouse” in Hungarian! Thx Google translate

I thought it was “let’s invade Europe with our glorious hordes! Our empire will stretch from the steppes to the ocean!” but my Hungarian is a bit rusty

That’s so close, bit you’re getting egĕr and and egér mixed up. It more directly translates to keys drink from the skulls of our enemies and listen to the lamentations of their women

To be in a rush (and yes, a verb to rush?) And mouse, yes

Don’t know if there is a way to summon me for Hungarian translations, but if there is, do so. :-]

I like your old comic revival. Maybe you can do something like explain xkcd as a spoiler? Hungarian(?) isn’t the easiest of languages

I don’t speak Hungarian and have just been translating the titles as best as I can with google. You’re right though, I probably should put some sort of explanation in the post body when there’s Hungarian text in the comic. I didn’t think of it this time.
