I cant take it anymore. A lady at the checkout of my dr appointment yesterday had a large poster, ehem, large ai poster of herself as a queen with text on it like “phone queen” and it was so hard to stand there and not say anything.
Imma get introuble at my son’s school this year, I can tell. Fuck Camino Alto, Fuck ai.
They probably have tons of enthusiastic kids at school that love to design posters, and some are actually very good. But noooo run dem slop maschinen!
These days… I don’t know, maybe a few. Also if you force kids to do stuff it will backfire =)
I had to make a poster for the Special Olympics when I was in school. It was mandatory, and a “competition” in the classes lol
I made the most offensive possible poster I could but was the only one that followed the rules to a tee and won the competition, even my peers who actually tried were like wtf? Only a few know, so I can describe it but it was an image, looking like a crayon drawing (I used a drawing tablet), with someone (use your imagination for the drawing) running into a brick wall with stacks of cash and of course the obligatory fake coffee mug stain.
Let’s just say it wasn’t mandatory the following year and after graduating the program was shut down. Yeah I’m pretty sure I’m partially to blame.
I would suggest to hire the students to do it, not require them to do it. Give them some experience earning a little money doing art.
I agree except fair wage should be paid to set an example for their future.
